'Filter by day' on the FTF/Actions pages continued

We've updated the logic with the recent update. Now all the 'day' filters, like 'Today', 'Tomorrow, a calendar day - all include recurring actions if those actions' recurrences fall on this day.

E.g., a 'Once a day' action would be seen every day. 'Once until done', too (though there may be a small bug with this one).

We also see bug reports in our developer console after this update, but can't identify the exact problem. So, if you know the steps to reproduce it, would be really helpful for us if you wrote about it here in comments or at our email. The problem is with FTF widget, probably, but we are not sure 100%.

Upd.: we found the reason for the bug, will push the fix soon.

  2. Hi there,

I have a problem with the app. It only shows 'actions' if no filter is selected (#goal #role #day). If I try to filter Actions, it displays nothing. If I don't filter, I get a full overview of all my Actions.

I tried to add new Actions, I have the same problem. I also reinstalled the app twice, and installed it on my laptop but the problem remains. Is this related to the bug you reported earlier? I would like to know how to fix this. Looking forward to your reply.

  3. Hello Andtek. The Best App in the world.
I don't know where to ask, so i will it here: If I create a Proiect with Sub-actions and Checklists why does these(Sub-actions and Checklists) appear in the quadrant ? Shouldn't it be just the main Project only ?

    1. Hi! It was the original logic, but some users wanted to see all the actions, so we've changed it. If it's an inconvenience, will think about changing it back.

    2. Prefiero la lógica original, ver todas las acciones en el cuadrante confunde. Para ver todas las acciones está la planificación semanal.

  4. Hello,
I have noticed minor bug when completing tasks.
When i touch ✔, toast message "+1 action done" is presented. How ever the task is not crossed until i do not press ✔ again when new toast message is presented "+1 action done".
So i think that done actions are double counted.
    Phone model i Lg v10.

    1. Hi Ristaa,

We always show "+1 action done" when an action done. But often users 'undo' their done action. In such cases we don't show a '-1 action done' message. Regarding your case, it may be some bug with recurrence setting. Is it a recurring action? Also, have checked if the 'done' count on the main page is incremented by 1 or 2?

    2. Hello,
You are right. this happens for reccuring actions. And it happens when i try to mark an action which happened in past. In this case xount on a main page is incremented by 2.
      Br,

  5. Hello. Great product. Been using it for well over a year, close to two. Fantastic. I have noticed a bug recently. Here is how I produce it on Android 4.4.4: [Main Screen] --> [My Roles] (scroll down). I have more than a single page of roles. When I first arrive at "My Roles" the add button appears at the bottom. If I scroll it disappears and there is no way to add a roll. It has a work around: [exit to main] --> [My Roles] and the add button will be at the bottom. Obviously, making it vanish makes it easier to see existing roles. But, there ought to be a way to add one ;). Thanks for continuing to improve a fantastic product. Have a great day.

    1. Hi Ja X, thanks a lot for the feedback! On the role page if you scroll back up, doesn't the role appear back?

    2. To clarify: I am speaking of the box at the bottom that says "Enter role here" with the addition sign.

    3. Oh, just noticed, it doesn't work on every device. How has it stayed unnoticed so long?

I initially thought you were talking about the Role page and 'add goal' +. Will take a look into it, thanks a lot for the help!

    4. I do think it wouldn't come up unless you had over 1 page of roles. It requires scrolling to repeat the bug.

    5. Just pushed the fix. It appears in one of the latest Google libs they've changed behavior in one of their components which caused this bug.

But, my Xperia Z3 just gone; face drop TT. And your app let me take a long time to decide if i want to cont using android or not.
and it's very bad using iOS without your app. struggling for finding app just like your for a week, none of them are.
If you are going to develop it in iOS i'll absolutely support yours.
Thanks and waiting for your fantastic app :)
