Backup not working on Android 6?

Some users complain about the inability to make a backup on Android 6, anyone else seeing this problem? Most interestingly those having Android 6. If you have an Android 6 phone and don't have this problem - write a short note, too, please, so we can guess the problem scale.

Update: we think we've found what's the problem, the fix should be out soon. Thanks everyone for helping to identify it.

  1. I'm testing My Effectiveness on stock Nexus 5 with latest Oct 5, 2016 security patches (v6.0.1, kernel: 3.4.0-g99666f7, build:M4B30X). I don't have any problems backing up or restoring, but I found a bug in backup management interface. If you have multiple backups and press: (|) > Backup/Restore > Manage you will be shown list of backups to select from. It doesn't matter which one you select the next dialog "Backup (Rename/Delete)" will be populated with the name of the backup that was on top of the list. The problem is that right now I can only restore the last backup or the oldest backup by reversing the list. As workaround I need to use (|) > Backup/Restore > Restore path.

    3. Not really, we worked mainly without a process. Will think of something, I guess it's needed now.

  2. Hi I am having problems with accessing my MISSION area I have set a password and have entered it correctly I think but it is telling me my password is wrong what can I do to reset it without u installing it and losing all my other information? I don't mind losing my old mission statement but I don't want to lose all my goal setting and other stuff.

    1. Hi Karlos, there's one workaround. Back up the app. Check that backup is working, i.e. change anything and then restore from that backup. Then uninstall and re-install the app - it will clear mission's password. Then restore to that backup.

Important is to check that backup is working and the best would be to use both backup systems - using the app and using the Google Drive.

    2. Thank you for your response. I tried to back it up but it just says error backing up, I still went ahead and uninstalled it any way but found that when I reinstalled it the password word was still there with nonew of my information, so I uninstalled it again and then reinstalled it and it came back with her all my original information but again the password was still there, I am not sure what I can do now.
